Vintage A. Zhidkov Russian Octagonal Lacquered Trinket Box - A beautiful hand-painted Russian lacquer box crafted from paper mache in the shape of an octagon. The lid features a detailed scene of royal figures and elaborate architecture. The borders are decorated with gold scrollwork and foliage. Each side of the box depicts royal scenes in intricate detail and vibrant colors. The interior is a beautiful red lacquer. Signed and dated on the underside -Palekh, Tales of A.S.
