After Jules Alfred Alexandre Dercheu, Allegory of Time, Gilt Bronze Sculpture - A large gilt bronze sculpture on a marble base, after French sculptor Jules Alfred Alexandre Dercheu - 1864-1912. The bronze depicts the allegory of time through a winged female figure, likely representing Time, seated on a cloud-like form and surrounded by astral symbols. The marble base is extensively damaged.  Sculpture Dimensions: H 17.5 x W 15 x 6 inches approximately  Damaged Base Dimensions: H 2 x W 13.5 x D 5 inches approximately Condition: the sculpture is in good condition with signs of wear from age. The base is removed from the sculpture. The left side of the base is damaged and broken into smaller pieces
