Vintage 1926 Cast Iron USPS Wall-Mounted Mailbox - A vintage cast iron USPS wall-mounted mailbox that was used on the cross streets of Lake Avenue and Wickham Avenue in Danville Pensylvania. Inscription stmaped on both sides reads Danville Stove & MFG Co. The front has the functioning pull-down slot where mail would enter and the unlocked retrival basin. The basin door still displays the hours of collection when this box was in use. Dimensions: H 30 x W 13.5 x D 8 inches Condition: consistant with age including paint chipping all throughout, does not appear to be repainted.
