Late 19th to early 20th century; The plate features a hand-painted bust portrait of a dark-haired young woman in an off-the-shoulder gown, set against a rich burgundy ground with intricate raised gilt scrollwork. The reverse bears a blue shield (beehive-style) mark, often associated with Vienna-style wares.
