For the artist, Arnold Iger, Nature, in all of its ever changing beauty is the inspiration for my recent art works. For me, art, is not a thing but an ongoing experience of learning and practice that reveals an understanding of our world and ourselves that is meant to be shared and enjoyed. Arnold's artistic interest are varied and include painting, graphics, printmaking, installation art, children's books, theatrical works, and he is an award winning filmmaker. He has written and directed documentary films for PBS including, Anatomy of A Spring roll, Pins and Noodles, A Wok in Progress and is currently in production on new film project. The artist was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and resettled in San Francisco after serving in the U.S. Air Force.
