Collection of 3 Asian Trinket or Jewelry Boxes and 1 Treen or Wooden Snuff Box - Collection of 4 Asian Trinket or Jewelry Boxes. 1 Antique Whitewood or Rosewood Jewelry Box covered in traditional Chinese lacquer in crimson or monk brown applied to the outside. Lined with colored pure silk satin for keeping jewelry. The corners are fitted with fancy brass plates and hardware, and they are usually inlaid with jade or cloisonne. 1 Antique lacquerware letter box with rope ties, and cherry blossom designs. Late Edo - Early Meiji Period. Ca. 1870 1 Japanese Meiji Period Horn Cigarette Case decorated with gold filigree. The case consists of a lid and base. The lid slides over the base to close the container. The lid features a scene in gold filigree of water birds and reeds with mountains in the background. The edge of the lid has a decorated edge. 1 Treen or Wooden Snuff Box made to look like a deck of cards carved with St George and Dragon. Dimensions - largest to smallest: H 3.25 x W 10 x D 4.25 inches, H 2 x W 9.75 x D 3 inches, H 4.75 x W 2.75 x D 1 inches, H 1.25 x W 3.75 x D 2.5 inches. Condition: Some scratches to cigarette case, otherwise good.
