Bidspirit auction | Antonio Mancini (attr. a) (1852

Antonio Mancini (attr. a) (1852 - 1930) - Portrait of a young man. Technique: pastel on paper Dimensions: 47 x 35 cm The drawing presents the typical traits of the master, showing a strong consonance with a work already presented at auction by Blindarte (Auction n. 69, 30 November 2014, lot n. 1). In the past the work was assigned to Cesare Tallone (1853-1919), an attribution that is also plausible: we recall that the two masters had strong contacts in the 1980s and also collaborated on four hands. The consonances could therefore be more than real. In double frame.
