France, Louis XVI, late 18th century - Pair of tripod Gueridons. Circular in gilded bronze and finely chiseled, with two shelves covered in white marble with a frame modeled with small drapes with feral heads. Base with amphora in the center. Provenance: W. Apolloni Gallery, Via del Babuino, Rome (1992); Purchased there from the current owners. Reference bibliography: M.
