Antique c1900s Flying Geese Quilt
Antique c1900 Flying Geese Quilt measuring about 62 x 74". Believe to have been from Cumberland County, PA. Comprised of seven vertical bars of flying geese measuring about 3 1/2 inches wide with alternating bars of an indigo print about 4 1/2 inches wide. There is an indigo inner border on the top and bottom about 2 inches wide and a 1 1/2 an inch outer border of white with small black star print. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a thin cotton batting in a green check reverse. The edges are finished with the front brought the back and applied by machine. It is in good condition with a few small spots.
