Antique c1900 Irish Chain Quilt measuring 76x85". Essentially a 9 patch, set on point, with alternating print squares. The fabrics are a consistent double pink and double green with a 3" pink inner border, and an 3.5" green outer border. it is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. There is a fabulous black with bright paisley print (24" selvedge width) on the reverse and thin cotton batting. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front. it is in very good condition. This quilt is part of the Living Estate of widely respected Sharon Stark of Sharon's Antiques Vintage Fabrics and Textiles of Eastern PA. She was an author and long time collector and dealer of antique quilts, fabrics and textiles. Sharon is the authority on Feedsacks, and you may remember her Rickrack website. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
