Bidspirit auction | Pinna Illusion Quilt
Pinna Illusion Quilt - Pinna Illusion Quilt measures 30x39”. The ”Pinna Illusion” quilt refers to a quilt pattern that utilizes the optical illusion discovered by Biagio Pinna and Richard Gregory in 2002. This illusion plays with perspective and color placement to create a sense of depth and movement, often making the quilt appear to have a curved or twisted effect. Ellen used a background fabric with purple and yellow squares to coordinate with the squares in the optical illusion. It is machine pieced, machine appliqued, and machine quilted. The quilt is in excellent condition with excellent workmanship. The quilt is signed and dated 2024 by Ellen Rosenbach on the reverse. Please see the About This Auction for her story!
