Vintage c1940s Lone Star Quilt - Vintage c1940s Lone Star Quilt Measuring 74x72 inches. The star measures about 64 by 66 inches and is comprised of 60 degrees diamonds, 2.5 inches along one side, in a variety of 1940s solids and feed sack style prints. It is set with muslin setting squares and triangles, a 2.25 inch inner border along 2 sides, and a 2.5 inch pink solid border along all 4 sides. Machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied solid pink binding. The quilting stitches are very fine on this quilt.
