Vintage c1940 Grandmothers Fan Quilt - Vintage c1940 Grandmother's Fan Quilt measuring 56 by 86 inches. It is comprised of 39 fan blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set on point and staggered, 4 by 6, with solid white setting triangles. There is a 2 inch green border followed by a 2 inch white border followed by a 2.5 inch bright green border, the green borders having purple cornerstones in the white border having a green cornerstone. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied white fabric binding. Lots of great feed sack prints in this quilt.
