2 Vintage c1940 Quilts - Basket, Hummingbird - 2 Vintage c1940 Quilts, includes a 1950s Hummingbird quilt, measuring 68 by 91 inches. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a solid light blue reverse. The edge is finished with the front brought to the back, by machine. Along with a 1940 Basket Quilt. measuring 66 by 84 inches. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied red bias tape binding. There are nice feed sack prints and both quilts.
