Vintage c1950s Lone Star Quilt - Vintage c1950s Lone Star or Radiating Star Quilt made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA, measuring 92x100”. Comprised of 60 degree diamonds 2” along one side in solid colors: blue, purple, lavender, light pink, dark pink, red, yellow, green, and mint green with white solid setting squares and triangles. There is a white border, 3.5” wide along 2 sides, and a triple border of purple, yellow, and red. 6” wide along all 4 sides. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied solid red binding. There is an appraisal from 2009 that will be included for documentation and provenance.
