Vintage c1950 Triple Irish Chain Quilt - Vintage c1950 Triple Irish Chain Quilt made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA. It measures 65 by 76 inches. It is comprised of 42 squares, 10 by 10 inches, set straight, 6 by 7, with 21 49 square blocks and 21 alternating white square blocks with appliqué square corners. There is a 2.5 inch white border. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied light green binding. It is in good condition with several small spots and discolorations including age discoloration along the top and bottom borders of the quilt.
