Vintage 1980s Cross Stitch Kit Quilt - Tulips and Roses - Vintage 1980s Cross Stitch Kit Quilt with Tulips and Roses, unnamed, but sold by Herrschner's Catalog in the 1980s. This quilt was made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA. It measures 83 by 97 inches. Medallion style with center Rose inside flower with rounded petals inside a flower with pointed petals with a ring of stylized roses alternating with stylized tulips. There is a blue ring with flowers and leaves of white, ring of roses alternating with tulips, and a border design of blue flowers, pairs of leaves, and pink tulips. It is hand pieced, hand embroidered in cross-stitch, and hand quilted. Thin poly cotton batting and a light blue cotton poly reverse. The edge is finished with an applied light blue cotton poly binding.
