Vintage c1970s Cross Stitch Kit Quilt - Elegance - Vintage c1970s Cross Stitch Kit Quilt - Elegance by Lee Wards, measures 84 by 100 inches. Made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA. It is comprised of 30 blocks, 13 by 13 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 3.25 inch yellow stashing and white cross-stitch cornerstones. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered in cross-stitch, and hand quilted. Medium loft polyester batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied yellow binding. The blocks alternate between a large Daisy would leaves between the petals and a wreath with 4 flowers and leaves, executed in shades of orange and green thread.
