Vintage 1980s Cross Stitch Kit Quilt - Country Blossoms - Vintage 1980s Cross Stitch Kit Quilt - Country Blossoms by Herrschners. Made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA. It measures 78 by 96 inches. There is a large basket of flowers at the lower end of medallion and small tulips are scattered inside the center. There is a decorative scalloped line that separates the center from the border and another decorative line repeated along the edge but is stretched out to create longer scallops. There are bouquets with a ribbon bow on each corner. It is hand pieced, hand embroidered in cross-stitch, and hand quilted. Thin polyester batting and a white poly cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied white fabric binding.
