Vintage 2010 Cross Stitch Kit Quilt - Floral Garden - Vintage 2010 Cross Stitch Kit Quilt - Floral Garden by Bucilla. Made by Genevieve Odom of Fayette County, PA. 88 by 88 inches. A floral bouquet is in the center of a flower wreath with a ribbon like line separating the center from the border. There are corner motifs of large roses in the center and a spray of small flowers to each side. Individual small flowers are grouped along the sides. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered in cross-stitch, and hand quilted. Thin polyester batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied blue fabric binding. This may have been one of the last quilts that Genevieve made, she passed in 2011 at 103 years old. There is an appraisal for this quilt that will be included for documentation purposes.
