Antique c1870 Ohio Star Signature Quilt - Antique c1870 Ohio Star Signature Quilt measuring 74 by 87 inches. It is comprised of 30 Ohio Star blocks, 9 by 9 inches, set straight, 5 by 6, with 2.75 inch chrome print sashing and 9 inch chrome print borders. Each block has a hand inscribed name in Inc. in the center including Ida Herper, Mary Moser, Susan M Potts, George Schantz, Jonas Rhodes, Jacob S Bower, and more. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Medium loft cotton batting and a chrome print reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by hand.
