Antique c1880 Double Irish Chain Quilt - Pink and Green - Antique c1880 Double Irish Chain Quilt with Pink and Green prints. It measures 72 by 89 inches. It is comprised of 35 blocks, 10.5 inches by 10.5 inches, set straight, 5 by 7, with 18 pieced blocks and 17 alternating white with green square print appliqué squares on the corners. There is a 2 inch on point square pieced inner border and a 6-7 inch solid white outer border. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied green print fabric binding.
