c1890 Bowtie Quilt, Finished Later - c1890 Bowtie Quilt, and finished about 15 years ago by Mennonite ladies in Ohio. It measures 71 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 90 blocks, 7 by 7 inches, set straight, 9 by 10, with a 4.5 inch black mourning print border. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a black print reverse. The edge is finished with the antique mourning print fabric.
