Vintage c1920 Solomons Temple Variation Quilt - Vintage c1920 Solomons Temple Variation Quilt measuring 77 by 88 inches. It is comprised of 56 blocks, 9.5 by 9.5 inches, set straight, 7 by 8, with 28 pieced blocks and 28 alternating solid white squares. There is a 7 inch triple border of solid pink, white and pink. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the narrow applied off white fabric binding. Workmanship is very nice on this quilt with the quilting in the style of a 19 century quilt, true Colonial Revival.
