Antique Early 19th C. Hat Fashion Plates - Included are fashion plates dedicated to hats from the early 19th century. There are 14 pieces of fashion plates from 1816-1819 and 6 fashion plates from 1820-1829. The majority of the fashion plates are from Wiener Moden Zeitung which was the first fashion magazine published in Vienna being founded in 1816. This magazine was a weekly publication that attracted middle class women with their fashionable hats and bonnets in varying styles. The fashion plates included typically depicts a woman's head in the center with a hat on and 4 floating hats surrounding her. These plates show signs of their age with toning and age spots but are otherwise in good condition. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate for the first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
