Vintage 1940 Scherenschnitte Snowflake Quilt - Vintage 1940 Scherenschnitte Snowflake Quilt measuring 85x90”. It is comprised of 9 blocks, 23.5 by 24.5 inches, set straight 3 by 3, with a 5.5 inch green border along the sides and an 8 inch green border along the top and bottom. Color placement alternates with every other block creating a positive negative effect. It is machine pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied green bias tape binding.
