Vintage c1940 Irish Chain Quilt - Vintage c1940 Irish Chain Quilt measuring 78 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 361 blocks, 3.5 by 3.5 inches, set straight, 19 by 19, with 180 blue and white 9 patch blocks and 181 alternating solid white squares. There is a 5.5 inch solid white border. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a light blue solid fabric binding.
