Vintage c1930 Friendship Quilt - Vintage c1930 finished c1980 Friendship Quilt measuring 70x80”. Sized of 56 Album blocks, 10 by 10 inches, set straight, 7 by 8. It is hand and machine pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted there is no batting, but a red on blue print reverse from the 1980s. The edge is finished with an off white fabric facing on the front and knife edge to the back. Many of the blocks are hand embroidered in red thread with names and abbreviations of associations such as for the Ladies Aid Society, the Free and Accepted Masons, CE which may stand for Christian Endeavor, and EW UC which may stand for a Women's Union Circle.
