Vintage c1940 Double Irish Chain Quilt - Vintage c1940 Double Irish Chain Quilt measuring 81 by 89 inches. It is comprised of 9025 square blocks, 5.5 inches by 5.5 inches, set on point, 9 by 10, with white school on point squares with pink solid square appliqué corners for setting blocks and partial block setting triangles. There is a 3.5” white scalloped border. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with an applied solid pink bias tape binding.
