Vintage Mid Century Velvet Tied Quilt - Vintage Mid Century Velvet Tied Quilt in a Broken Dishes Pattern. It measures 59 by 74 inches. It is comprised of 208 blocks, 4.5 by 4.5 inches, set straight, 13 by 16. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand tied at each block intersection with a burgundy color embroidery floss. Medium loft cotton batting and a blue cotton sateen reverse. The edge is finished with an applied blue cotton sateen binding. Very rich and luxurious on both the front and the reverse.
