Collection of Antique Fabric Swatches - Collection of Antique Fabric Swatches. There are 131 antique 19th century fabric swatches included. There are shirtings, turkey reds, double pinks, calicos, stripes, conversationals, florals, geometrics, polka dots, and more. There is a swatch book included with an extra 12 chintz fabric swatches with writing on the inner cover. There are 35 cards with swatches mounted on them with a small description written on the back. The swatches in this collection range from being palm sized to 9” though pieces are never bigger than a foot. A few are mounted on paper and there is one with the embroidered name Louisa A Coffman 1928. Toning can mainly be seen on these pieces and there are spots, and small holes as well.
