Guna Mola Panel Stylized Cats and Birds - Panama (Guna Yala), circa 1970s 14 x 16.5 inches Finely worked mola panel featuring four stylized cats arranged in the corner quadrants — each rendered with whiskered face, square eyes, and striped body in blue, lavender, orange, and green outlines — surrounding a central cross-form composition with three small embroidered birds, executed in two layers of black and orange cotton, with additional appliqué and hand embroidery in orange, yellow, pink, blue, green, white, and lavender.
