An Edwardian silver-plated crumb scoop by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, dated 1910 - An Edwardian silver-plated crumb scoop manufactured by Walker & Hall of Sheffield. The piece features a broad, rectangular tray with rounded leading corners and a slightly raised gallery. The blade is joined via a stepped and knopped bolster to a decorative filled handle. The handle is ornamented with scrolled foliate motifs at the bolster and terminates in a rounded, tapering form. The reverse of the blade is stamped with the maker's marks W, &, H, S, B, followed by a pennant flag symbol containing the letters EP, denoting electro-plate. The handle ferrule is stamped with the British registered design number RD NO 561221, which corresponds to the year 1910.
