The container features a brass-tone finish and is constructed with eight embossed panels and a peaked, handled lid. Each panel is decorated with various Judaic and Biblical symbols framed by scrollwork and stars. Observable motifs include a seven-branched Menorah, a Davidic harp, a sailing vessel, a cluster of grapes, a sunburst, and a ceremonial pitcher. These symbols are traditionally associated with the Twelve Tribes of Israel and the Land of Israel. The base of the tin is printed with the Murray-Allen company information and the Regal Crown brand logo. The text reads MURRAY-ALLEN above a shield and crown, followed by Imported Superior Quality Exclusive Confections, A MURRAY-ALLEN IMPORT NEW YORK, N.Y. LOS ANGELES, CALIF., and MADE IN ENGLAND.
