Three Vintage British Cast Brass Novelty Drunk Man and Signpost Figurines - A set of three mid-20th-century novelty souvenir figurines cast in brass. Each piece depicts a caricature of a man in a top hat and frock coat in a leaning posture against a signpost, a motif commonly referred to as a drunk or drunken tramp and often associated with similar lamp post ornaments. The figurines are produced using a mass-produced sand-casting technique, resulting in characteristic surface textures and some softening of detail. Each figure stands on an integral circular or semi-circular base. The signposts feature embossed lettering for various British tourist destinations: Land's End, Leicester Square London, and Isle of Man. No manufacturer's marks or foundry stamps are visible on the exterior bodies or bases. The items feature an original aged patina with surface tarnish in recessed areas.
