A Collection of Early to Mid-20th Century British Photograph Albums Postcards and Loose Photographs - This collection of British ephemera consists of two photograph albums and an assortment of loose photographs and postcards dating from the early to mid-20th century. Album 1 is bound in a dark brown pebbled-texture cover featuring a square logo with a silhouette of a horse-drawn carriage and the text A BACKWARD GLANCE ON TRAVELLED ROADS above and below. The word Photographs is printed in a stylized script. The internal pages contain black and white family snapshots from the 1930s and 1940s depicting domestic scenes and children. One page includes a handwritten ink caption Dorothy April 1934. Album 2 is bound in a light tan cover with a woven-effect texture and the word Photographs in cursive script on the lower right corner.
