Two Terracotta Oil Lamps including a Triple-Nozzle Hathor Style Example - Two terracotta oil lamps. The first is a light-coloured terracotta lamp of circular form, mould-made with a discus featuring an indistinct figure in relief, surrounded by a radiating pattern on the shoulder. It features a single nozzle and a small loop handle. The second is a dark-fired ceramic vessel modelled as a stylised human face, resembling Hathor iconography associated with the Roman period in Egypt. This piece features incised facial features, a wide filling hole at the crown, and three tubular wick nozzles at the base. Both items exhibit surface encrustation and weathering consistent with burial. No maker's marks or inscriptions are present on the bodies or bases of the items.
