Philip Townsend, The Beatles with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Signed Limited Edition Photograph. Damaged Glass - A signed limited edition black and white photographic print by the British photographer Philip Townsend (1940–2016). The image, titled The Beatles with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, captures John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr during their first meeting with the Maharishi in 1967. The group also includes Jane Asher, Patti Boyd, Maureen Starr, Mal Evans, Neil Aspinall, and Mike McGear. The photograph is personally signed in pencil by Philip Townsend in the lower right margin and is hand-numbered 127/2500 in the lower left margin. The print is presented in a dark-stained wooden frame with a cream-coloured mount. An inset descriptive panel titled The Beatles Collection by Philip Townsend provides historical context regarding the meeting and biographical details of the photographer. Affixed to the reverse is a Certificate of Authenticity from a Studio Limited Editions of Brighouse, West Yorkshire, which bears a handwritten signature and is numbered 127/2500.
