Navy League Old Boys' Association Register and Associated Ephemera 1925 - This lot consists of a historical record book for the Navy League Old Boys' Association, detailing its establishment and early membership in the Merseyside area of the United Kingdom. The register notes the association was founded on 8th January 1925 by Charles Edward McLellan, B.L. Wallis, R. Thompson, W. Hayes, F. Palmer, and L. Laughton. It is a large-format horizontal folio, half-bound with a maroon spine and corners over dark green textured cloth boards, with the title stamped in gilt on the front. Internal ledger pages are hand-written and include columns for surname, Christian name, present address, period in school, present occupation, contributions, and remarks. The addresses are primarily located in Wallasey, Birkenhead, and Seacombe. Recorded occupations include seafaring roles such as Ship's Steward and Able Seaman, as well as Police Constable and Musician.
