A 1995 Nu-Tool Model CH10 5-Speed Benchtop Drill Press. Tested for power. Collection Only - This benchtop drill press is a Nu-Tool model CH10, manufactured in Doncaster, England, in 1995. The machine features a cast metal construction finished in green paint. It is built upon a heavy rectangular base with a cylindrical central column supporting an adjustable square work table with clamping slots. The drill head houses a 250W (1/3 HP) motor and a 5-speed pulley system. The spindle has a capacity of 1.5-13 mm and an R.P.M. of 1400 at 50Hz. Key features include a three-spoke feed handle, a depth gauge marked in centimetres and inches up to 5.2, and a spring-loaded transparent plastic safety guard over the chuck. The unit is fitted with a standard UK three-pin power plug. Identification plates show the model number CH10 and serial number 24489.
