Two Vintage M. Hohner Harmonicas, Song Band and Sonny Boy Models - This lot comprises two vintage harmonicas manufactured by M. Hohner in Germany. The first instrument is a Song Band Model 1 tremolo harmonica, Reference No. 8231, in the key of C. It is constructed with chrome-plated metal cover plates stamped with the manufacturer name, model, and hole numbering from 1 to 20, enclosing brass reed plates and a wooden comb. The instrument is accompanied by its original cardboard box featuring multi-coloured graphic designs and a paper instruction label adhered to the inner lid. The second instrument is a Sonny Boy model, featuring polished metal cover plates engraved with a caricature of a smiling boy and the model name in script. It is built with a wooden comb and is housed in its original red plastic hardshell case which features gold-tone printed branding. Song Band length: 150mm Sonny Boy length: 115mm.
