Mid-Century Modern Fluted Bronze Dinner Bell Attributed to Richard Rohac - This mid-20th-century hand bell is attributed to the Austrian designer Richard Rohac, a notable figure in the Vienna Bronze movement who worked for Hagenauer and Walter Bosse before establishing his own workshop. The bell features a characteristic conical body with deep vertical fluting or pleating, a signature aesthetic of the period. It is constructed from cast yellow metal, likely bronze or brass, with polished highlights on the ridges contrasting against dark patinated recesses. The bell is fitted with a turned handle made of ebonised wood. The interior shows a textured as-cast finish and contains a metal ball clapper suspended from a chain.
