A Swiza 8-Day Mechanical Brass Desk Clock - A mid-20th century Swiss desk clock manufactured by Swiza. The piece features a circular brass case mounted on an integrated, flared triangular base with blue felt lining to the underside. The circular dial has a brushed gold-tone finish with applied rectangular baton hour markers at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, complemented by incised line markers for the remaining hours. It is fitted with central gold-tone hour, minute, and sweep seconds hands. The clock is powered by a mechanical 8-day movement, wound via an integrated key on the reverse. The dial is marked SWIZA 8 above the centre and SWISS MADE T at the bottom edge, indicating the use of tritium for luminescence. The underside of the base is stamped with the reference number 535 and the maker name SWIZA.
