El Gallo Vintage Lithographed Metal Perpetual Calendar Advertising Sign - A vintage American lithographed metal perpetual calendar advertising sign for the brand El Gallo. The rectangular sign features a dual-section layout enclosed within a decorative foliate scrollwork border. The left section displays a lithographed illustration of a rooster in a farmyard setting with a farmhouse and barn, titled Wake Up! within an arched banner and El Gallo in bold serif lettering below. The right section contains a perpetual calendar grid listing the twelve months in abbreviated form and numerical dates from 1 to 31. Two adjustable black metal slider frames are attached to the grid to highlight the current month and date. The lower front edge bears the printed marks Manufactured by Maclin-Zimmer-McGill Co., Inc., Petersburg Virginia, U.S.A., and (Successor to Moore & Calvi).
