A Collection of Vintage Wade Whimsies and Other Miniature Figurines - This collection of vintage miniature figurines features porcelain items produced by Wade Ceramics, known as Wade Whimsies. These pieces include a rhinoceros in a blue-grey glaze, an elephant with a raised trunk in a grey glaze, and a monkey with an infant on its back in a tan glaze. The rhinoceros and monkey figures are marked Wade Made in England on their bases, and the elephant is marked Made in England on its foot. The assortment also contains a white-glazed porcelain cat with hand-painted yellow, green, and black details, including a green asterisk-shaped motif on its flank. Additionally, there is a mixed-media character figure in the style of the Mecki hedgehog, featuring a moulded face and fuzzy hair.
