J. Burrows, J. Abram, and Other Hands, 'A Collection of Paintings and Watercolours' (Signed) - A collection of various artworks executed in multiple media including watercolour, gouache, and oil or acrylic on paper and board. The group features architectural studies of Russian Orthodox cathedrals with gilded onion domes, executed in watercolour and ink on paper, signed and dated J Burrows 92 lower left. A botanical study of red poppies in watercolour on paper is signed J Abram lower left. Another botanical study featuring pink blossoms is monogrammed and dated G 03 lower right. The collection further includes a painting of a tiger in a woodland setting, a landscape depicting ducks in flight over a marshland, a topographical scene of The Ship Inn beside a canal, a naive-style depiction of a red dragon beneath a tree, and a winter landscape showing a Russian cathedral.
