La Reine Limoges France Miniature Porcelain Ewer with Courting Couple Scene - A miniature porcelain ewer manufactured by La Reine, Limoges, France. The vessel features a bulbous body, a slender neck with a flared and scalloped rim, and a high-arching, scrolling handle, all supported on a spreading pedestal foot. It is decorated with a deep teal blue ground glaze. The front presents a central circular vignette showing a transfer-printed scene of a musician serenading a seated lady in a garden setting in the style of Fragonard, contained within a gilded foliate scroll border. The reverse side features a single gilded floral spray. Gilded highlights are applied to the rim, handle, and base. The underside bears a gold crown mark above the script signature La Reine, a green circular stamp reading LIMOGES FRANCE, the name Limoges in gold block letters, and the alphanumeric code C 23.
