A Collection of Five Vintage Ceramic and Glass Cake Stands including Royal Doulton Twilight Rose - This collection comprises five vintage cake stands in ceramic and glass. Featured is a two-tier Royal Doulton fine bone china stand in the Twilight Rose pattern (H. 5096). It consists of two graduated circular plates decorated with transfer-printed pink rose sprays and grey-green foliage, finished with a silver-tone rim and a central chrome-finished metal spindle carrying handle. The base of the lower plate is marked with the Royal Doulton lion and crown crest, Made in England, Bone China, Twilight Rose, and a 1984 copyright. Also included is a single-tier ceramic cake stand featuring a vibrant floral border of yellow lilies, pink roses, and small purple blossoms on a white pedestal base, matching the Bicuzat floral pattern. The collection is completed by three clear press-moulded glass pedestal stands. Two larger stands feature a textured hobnail or thousand eye pattern to the plate centre with fluted pedestals and scalloped feet. The smaller glass stand displays a deep radial sunburst pattern from the centre with a matching fluted pedestal base.
