A Collection of Willow Tree Figurines and Plaque by Susan Lordi for DEMDACO - This collection comprises contemporary decorative items from the Willow Tree range, designed by artist Susan Lordi for DEMDACO. The pieces are constructed from cast resin with a hand-painted finish intended to mimic the appearance of hand-carved wood. The group includes three free-standing figurines and one relief wall plaque. The figurines are titled Together, depicting a standing man and woman in an embrace; Sisters by Heart, comprising two individual figures of young women with hands clasped; and Father and Son, showing a kneeling man with his arm around a standing boy. These three items are accompanied by their original cardboard packaging. The wall plaque, titled Friendship, is square in form and depicts two seated figures in low relief. The reverse of the plaque features a metal keyhole hanger and printed marks including Willow Tree, Susan Lordi, Friendship, ©2001 Susan Lordi, DEMDACO, and the phrase Forever true, forever friends. A small gold-toned sticker on the reverse reads Made in China.
