The chair features a shaped top rail with a central carved floral and scroll motif, supported by a broad, shaped central splat. The front legs are of a decorative bulbous cup and cover design with carved floral medallions, terminating in square block feet and joined by an H-form stretcher. The seat is upholstered in a brown leather or leather-like material finished with brass-coloured upholstery tacks. The underside of the seat frame includes handwritten markings in chalk or grease pencil, featuring the characters 6, 2, 9, G, and AA, likely serving as inventory or workshop marks.
